The discussion of recognizing Tina Turner with a rose was for her deciding to take over the narration of her life at 81 and deciding that after the documentary was aired, she would no longer speak about her traumatic experiences but rather live her life in peace. Crowned ReRe shares how Tina Turner and the documentary “Tina” has helped her navigate how to tell her own story, which she currently refers to as “The time everything consistent became inconsistent.” Tina Turner left us so much that she will not be forgotten; she will continually get her roses, and her crown will continue to be recognized.
